Images and OCR
We never receive your images — processing happens in your browser. When you use the OCR tool on Photo2Text, the selected file is read locally by JavaScript running on your device. Image bytes are not uploaded to https://photo2text.online or to any server we control.
To perform recognition, your browser may download open-source OCR language model files (tessdata) from a public CDN such as jsDelivr or the default Tesseract.js hosting. Those requests carry model assets, not your photograph.
Analytics and ads
If we enable privacy-friendly analytics or Google AdSense in the future, those third parties may set cookies or collect standard request data (for example IP address, user agent, and pages visited) according to their own policies. AdSense, when active, is subject to Google's policies. We do not use popups or fake download buttons.
Logs and contact
Our static host (for example Vercel) may keep routine access logs for security and reliability. Emails you send via the contact page are used only to respond to you.
Children
The service is a general utility and is not directed at children under 13. Do not submit personal information about children through contact forms.
Changes
We may update this policy as the product evolves. The date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised policy.
